Rishin Singh (b. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) is a composer living in Berlin.

He has been commissioned to compose for JACK Quartet (US), Piano+ (US), Claire Edwardes (AUS), Martin Sturm (DE), The Amsterdam Wandelweiser Festival (NL), Fabrik Quartet (DE), Flinders Quartet (AUS), Sähkökitarakvartetti (FI), and others.

Highlighted performances include at rainy days Festival (Luxembourg), Linos Festival (Köln), Sacrum Profanum Festival (Krakow), The NOW now Festival (Sydney), and the APRA Art Music Awards (Sydney) by such musicians and ensembles as EXAUDI Vocal Ensemble (UK), Huw Morgan (UK), Alex Raineri (AUS), Joseph Houston (DE), and Nina Guo (DE).

He has been a finalist in the APRA Art Music Awards (Work of the Year: chamber music 2022), and awarded two Berlin Senat für Kultur Composition Stipends and three Musikfonds Neustart Kultur Stipends. His work has been supported by the Deutsche Musikrat, GVL, initiative neue musik Berlin, Fonds Darstellende Künste, and AUSCO.

Singh has taught composition guest workshops at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar, UdK Berlin Sound Studies Department, and the Technical University of Dortmund.

Singh is published by Composers Edition and is an Associate Artist at the Australian Music Centre, who publish his scores in Australia. His music has been released by Beacon Sound, Farpoint Recordings, Edition Wandelweiser Records, Intonema, and others.

In 2025 he began a practice-based PhD in Composition at University College Cork as a Danijela Kulezic-Wilson Memorial PhD Scholar, supervised by John Godfrey and Yvon Bonenfant.
